Devil’s Delight is a death and hell themed game, one which Net Ent has managed to make look funny. It might not be some modern looking title, the likes of which we’re used to seeing from this company, but it can at least make its players smile. Expect to encounter all sorts of characters from down there on the reels, from Lady Death, to devils with pitchforks, or demons. Devil’s Delight has up to 20 lines active, 5 reels with 3 symbols each, and it has the ability to pay up to $20,000 from a single combination. It has a few good features in place, such as the wild symbol, the bonus game, scatters, free spins and multipliers as high as 5x.

Betting requirements

Net Ent doesn’t always let its players decide what the line bet should be, but sometimes it does happen, especially in older games. It’s the case with Devil’s Delight, the game having up to 20 active lines. For each one, you have a maximum of 10 coins that can be used, with their value reaching $0.50. You end up using bets of up to $5 for each of those 20 lines, and so the total bet can reach $100 at most.

Theme & Design

The game might be themed around hell, but with a comedic angle. It’s not a sexy themed hell, or a serious one, just funny. It shows us different characters that would belong in hell, mostly those that are working there, not visiting. From the Devil himself, shown in a business suit, to Lady Death, to the attractive she-devil, to small demons holding pitchforks, or larger ones roasting sausages over Hell’s fire, these are the symbols that contribute to the smile that’s about to form on your face. A mix of other related symbols are also on that list, with pentagrams, boiling cauldrons, flaming hearts, the 666 logo, a skeleton hand and a couple of poker cards placed on headstones. The graphics style is going to resemble a caricature, but that’s what makes it funny, the fact that it’s not taking itself seriously. I’ve seen a lot of better titles coming from Net Ent, but none that tried to be funny as well, like this one does. For me, that’s a plus, since few slots will do “funny” well, even though they attempt it.

Special Features

In the role of a feature, as a wild, we are getting the Devil, smoking a cigar and dressed in a business suit. In this case, we have an expanding wild, the symbol being available only on columns 2, 3 and 4. On those reels, it will take them over completely whenever this can result in some new combination. Wilds will substitute just for the regular symbols, not the bonus or the scatter. The symbol with the pentagram is available to players as a scatter. Just having it visible in three positions or more is going to be enough to trigger for you the free spins. To retrigger the free spins after that, or to increase the multiplier for them, is going to be even easier, since you need just two or more scatters along the way. Multipliers in the free spins can be anywhere from 1x to 5x, and they apply only to regular combinations. Now, in addition to the regular free spins, the slot also seems to have Sin Spins. To get them, you’re going to have to play a bonus game, and to trigger it multiple times. The bonus game takes you to the street, where you have a couple of characters. You have to guess which kind of sin each of them is making, and those that you get right are killed and you get some money and their soul. You collect the souls of the damned over the course of multiple bonus games, and once you have 15 you get 10 Sin Spins. To trigger the bonus game, you need the Lady Death symbol visible on the last three reels at the same time.

Jackpot

You’re going to bet in this game, and spin its reels, in exchange for a reward of 4,000x. For this particular game, it can be turned into a jackpot of 40,000 coins, the value being $20,000 at most. The huge advantage that this game has is its average RTP. From what I could find, it’s at 97.60%, which is very good for a slot machine, and one of the best paying titles in Net Ent’s portfolio.

Conclusion

Considering everything I’ve just told you, from the funny hell themed design, to the long list of features, or the high average RTP that appears to be available here, I think that it’s one of the better choices that you could make from Net Ent.
